What 1.3 Million Babies Taught Us

In 2025, Embrace reached 196,320 babies. We delivered 1,636 devices, nearly double the year before. Across our full history, that is 1,355,911 babies kept warm.

The numbers are not the story.

They are what the story leaves behind.

The Model, Formalized

This year we put a name to something we've believed since the beginning: training, equipment, and partnership, all three, every time. A device alone doesn't save a baby. A trained nurse who knows how to use it, in a hospital that can maintain it, backed by a partner who sticks around after the ribbon-cutting, does. That's the system we formalized in 2025, and it's the one we're strengthening as we scale.

Embrace model of training, equipment, and partnership.

Where We Worked

Our devices went into conflict zones, rural hospitals, ambulances, and referral centers across more than 30 countries this year, including Afghanistan, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Tanzania, Yemen, and Zambia. Each one has frontline health workers doing more with less than most people could imagine.

In Sudan, our second shipment has just arrived and is the second of three shipments that are helping us move toward countrywide implementation. In Zambia, we're now in 8 hospitals and in active conversation with the Ministry of Health about what it would take to scale nationally.

Partners Who Believe in Warmth

None of this happens without help. Cake Byte built the systems behind our data. The General Atlantic Foundation turned the birth of a child into warmth for a baby on the other side of the world. Our logistics partners got equipment into some of the hardest places on earth to reach.

Different roles. Shared mission.

Where We're Headed

By 2035, we want to be reaching 5 million babies a year. Geography shouldn't determine whether a baby lives or dies in the first hours after birth.
